If you've been around for any amount of time, you'll definitely know that we wholeheartedly believe in vinyl products. Most everyone in and around the MSXII camp has come from a place of vinyl diggin' at some point. So, for us to be able to potentially share the same affinity for vinyl that we have is priceless!
Don't get us wrong--we love the flexibility, ease of use, and convenience of digital products. Streaming has made things super easy when it comes to searching, finding, and playing your favorite music. However, there's still something about having to break the plastic off a vinyl record. There's still something about reading the credits and seeing who played what instruments. The smell of a room full of records. There is most definitely something about having to sit down, take time, and listen to an entire album. We still love all of that. No matter how convenient music consumption gets, we will do our best to keep the nostalgia of vinyl alive and in front of the next generation!
We're grateful for avenues such as the Haydock Academy School of Arts & Sciences (in famous Oxnard, CA) to be able to give back. Our mission here at MSXII Sound Design is simple...to inspire. We're here to inspire the next generation of movers, thinkers, and innovators in anyway possible. Enjoy this clip below of the kids getting their 70's Soul Aesthetic Vinyl copies!
